Live your life

I typed up a whole rant about how I will be there for my friends through whatever and all that but I think that with my closest friends, they know that I'll do anything for them and it's because that you guys have given and done so much for me (aww) =)

Serious talk though, if you live your life not worrying about the haters and just continue to make friends and build that support system--who can really put you down?

I don't wanna talk like I have nothing to lose but I just know that there's always better things to do then sit around and put up with someone who's just angry and wants your attention. Like Lisa said to me, "it's nice to be too busy with other things to care" & that's really how it is and should be.

i detest the statement, "i'm bored" and i'm glad that I've yet to hear this lately from any of my immediate friends. I subconsciously turned around to Ralph's little brother yesterday and replied to him saying, "well do something about it then" lol but i mean, i'm hoping that he didn't take it the wrong way. it's just one of those things i don't want to tend to and if you're really wanting something, then do it yourself or take initiative, at least. another one is, "i'm hungry"... well my response to that would to just ignore you and i'll go make a nice sub or something for myself cuz you just reminded me of food lol.

yes, ian, i'm "cold" for saying things like that (i can hear you saying it to me lol) but it's what I honestly think.

by the way, thanks for your responses in my last post =) i had a lot of fun reading them. (at the moment I feel like natalie from the community channel replying to comments)... but yeah it's always nice to know who's reading and since I'm always running around, it's nice to have my friends' opinions and we can all share and talk about it even if all my friends don't talk and know each other.

brings me back to thanksgiving 2007 when i had basically my top 8 friends on myspace all meet up for thanksgiving and we were hanging out at farmers. that was pretty awesome because they all didn't really each other =) my friends are awesome.

but yeah so to transition from my last post to this one, here's a conversation i had with one of my good friends ever since 7th grade and I just wanted to put him on blast


Friend: Man, I swear I'm more white than asian
Me: because you want to be or just because you're convinced that you have no vietnamese culture in you
Me: lol
Friend: Hahaha
Friend: Hey, no need for deep insight here

but on a lighter note...

Friend: Man, you saved me in high school
Me: what do you mean
Friend: Haha You don't remember? I was going through so much psychological shit in high school. I contemplated suicide and everything. I was like all over the place. And we just talked it out
Friend: I was on the verge of breaking
Me: i think i've masked that chapter but I do remember talking to you a lot
Me: and if anything i don't wanna remember you by that
Me: i remember our ditching sunday school
Friend: Haha
Me: and playing tennis
Me: lol
Friend: Yes
Friend: And getting smacked in the face with a tennis ball
Friend: Awesome!
Me: hahaha that was all you, bro
Me: glad you're still with us
Friend: Likewise
Friend: Like I said. We're going to be friends for life! We're growing old together!!!!!

the second half of the conversation made me smile and even though i'm happy that i was able to help someone in their time of need (even though i don't really remember it, sorry), i want to hope that none of my close friends will ever contemplate suicide or anything from here on out.

i've yet to get over my friend who's been with me since sixth grade and i don't want to have to go to a friend's funeral anytime soon.

on a lighter note...

I am done with two finals and I'm getting back into reading more for my BioMedical Ethics class so I have a ton of things to talk about if anyone's interested in talking about life and death issues lol I promise that the hypothetical situations that I place you in are possible and not dumb shit like, "who would you marry... freddie prince or jonathon taylor thomas" yeah, for real talk =)
