Not really a job but something memorable, nonetheless.
When I went with a friend to show support for her wanting to join Girls’ League, this exclusive all-girls organization (something almost like a sorority) at my high school, and I ended up just interviewing for it anyway since I was there. It was so awkward since I really didn’t have any intentions in joining since I was rejected by ASB like the month before. I think I was more nervous to join ASB rather than sitting there being interviewed by a circle of girls and the advisors. Not saying bad about them, I was just clueless about what they did. When they asked me what attracted me to them I started talking about how I thought I saw them perform at one of these events… little did I know that they weren’t even there at the event but I reassured them that they were amazing nonetheless hahaha… yet I got into the organization and my friend didn’t… I felt really bad for her and another friend who tried two to three times every year following =\
You know that feeling when you know someone wants to join something just to pick up on the recognition? But they’re not willing to do work. I knew this from my friends and honestly, even if you’re my best friend… I won’t let u join something I’m a part of if you’re not willing to help out or work. It doesn’t make sense and definitely unethical.
