Topic #5: Do you prefer to talk, text message, or a different communication method?

i prefer to talk to people face to face and over the phone when it's purely catching up and just seeing how they're doing.

i use text messages as a way to get to a point of discussion quickly and to the point -- doesn't necessarily have to be work related. if it's an elaborate plan, i'd like to just talk on the phone but stuff like... what time are we meeting, where are you, where are we going... close ended conversations are kept through texts.

i prefer emails over business video conferences let it be one on one or multiple people especially if everything's laid out already for a certain project. but if it's brainstorming then definitely video conferencing.

i prefer aim chatrooms, IMs, or whatever for long elaborate talks about anything that's too long for text messages or not formal enough for emails but something that can log and review my thoughts before confirming it and likewise for the person(s) on the other end.

if i had a choice with venting through aim or blogging, it would be through aim since i actually like hearing the active feedback. blogging's purely journal entry/diary and i don't really care for responses or expect responses but it's nice when people would give me feedback based on what they read since it surprises me EVERY time <3 thanks for that, readers.

so i prefer some messages to be sent as smoke signals, morse code, paper airplanes... jk. =) just trying to think of what other forms of communication is there out there in the world. creative juices flowin right now.
