i think... it does say a lot when i stop reading people's blogs, and following them on twitter.
even i know that with family, i can love them and still get annoyed with some things that they do. same thing with friends but if my family knows better than to complain about little things in their lives, why should i treat others who complain about rain ruining their day or how they notice someone stared at them the wrong way and decide to tweet about it... with more respect?
if i were to introduce friends to other friends... i would NOT want to introduce someone who complains about every little thing in the world to another friend. i would DEFINITELY not recommend someone who uses twitter or a blog form to yell at someone else indirectly to be dating any one of my better friends.
i always had the mentality that if someone cared for me enough, they would message me personally rather than not talking to me directly and determining the status of my friendship with them through social networks. that's kinda sad.
on the flipside, if i choose to not follow someone on twitter anymore, or be friends with them on myspace, facebook, or whatever it is... it doesn't necessarily mean that i don't want to be updated on their lives. rather, i think people should realize that i care to not follow their updates there since they spam and abuse it as a way to get away from the world. which in a sense is fine... but i enjoy more... the sitting down and catching up on how things are.
i don't want my last memory of being with a friend to be "i was JUST reading his twitter... we were such close friends" yeah wth is that lol
