Chocolate...

there exists something that can make me feel warm and more relaxed. especially when a girl is going through her cycle lol

at this point of my life... i figure... i might as well make the most out of my time here when i know i still am capable of doing things and get things done... or at least pave the way for others to get their things done and lay it out for everyone to get the ball rolling faster. the only problem is, i don't know who to trust with my OWN personal projects for this... and i'm on the verge of panicking.

yesterday was probably my first and only time where i got to sit down with anyone, and it just happens to be the boyfriend, and explained to them how i compiled paperwork and explained to him the system as to how i got things done for Breakthrough.

i feel as though while others are out talking about how fun and successful an event is/was, i'm just more curious as to the production team and things were ran behind the curtains... as in how complex the paperwork had to be and how many faces had to be seen in order for something to be approved. the logistics end of it is more of the networking side than just simply watching an event and knowing JUST who the MC and judges are. i miss working with the stage managers, the sound and tech persons and it's just so much fun to be on stage and cueing things to happen :D i'm excited to share in the experience with those who are putting together events. i feel like i understand their stress as well as excitement and i can't wait to work if not only supporting their production!

deep down, i really do wish that i could pass on the torch with the Breakthrough competition but it's hard to find someone who's not pulled into the hype of just meeting the top named choreographers and teams and just take into consideration that there ARE people out there who are struggling just as much to get on top... and in the end, i'm just trying to give the most deserving folks the chance to shine--and i've seriously met some of the most amazing talents by simply visiting them at their stages and see them perform at their events or even just practicing in their living rooms :) it's a side passion and that's really who all i ask for in return... if someone really wants to work with me on my project... i ask that they take the initiative to step outside their typical network of friends, make the efforts to try to get to know someone with a different interests, and most importantly: make a personal impression on the person face to face rather than depending on contacting people through emails and such...

that's a long way away though... we'll see how things go and see who i choose for my team to put things together and getting things done.
