after a great night after hanging out with friends, i'd go on facebook to check on updates and what not and i see people update their pictures but it's of them taking pictures of themselves...
the last time i did that would be my sophomore year of high school lol
in my honest opinion, i personally think it's a little self-centered and really i'm just wondering "really... do you not have anything else better to do? i know that wasn't just the first take, if it was, do you really think THAT highly of your looks?"
i always found those pictures to be the more embarassing ones and if anything, unnatural.
i LOVE group pictures cuz honestly, #1 i know i'm not good at taking pictures with people when it's duos and #2 it saves so much more time and i sometimes want to brag that yeah i did hang out with a large group of friends. not that i don't like kickin it with people one on one--not at all. i just think it's awkward when i'm having a great conversation with someone and then randomly want to take a picture with them lol
if i took that much initiative to take pictures with people, i think more people (younger people, especially on my team) would believe me more when i say i "know" or am friends with certain folks--but it's not my priority to take a picture with them, really. my goal is to leave with their contact information lol not as another fan who just wants proof of me being there and they can just forget about me.
anyway, just thought i'd vent a little on how i feel about some people's choice of pictures. go for the natural look... please don't pout or make huge gigantic eyes cuz i'll be expecting you to look like that everytime we talk lol gross... can u imagine?

so i was telling farmer and the guys how Macy's had me selling handbags, jewelry, and boots... then farmer laughs and says out loud, you're the worst person to be selling those things! hahaha and i can't help but agree. i agree that they're really nice things and very cute and all that but it's NOT ME.
i was an athlete trained to never wear jewelry, i never found purses to be useful when wanting to carry my books and stuff in school, and boots weren't useful to me since i always wore shoes to longboard to class.
i wish sometimes i can be classy but i really don't have the money to look that good. it's good that others can pull it off without being a snob, and i have great friends who are examples =)
i like sports too much to carry a purse i think. if i want to be active, i don't want to worry where i'm going to put my purse. when i do carry purses and have to do something, i'm afraid someone's going to take my stuff; for example: at theme parks, at arcades when i have to put it down to play a game, or when i go grocery shopping and i need to get something heavy... yeah... i do think about these things.
when i do carry purses, it's usually when i'm out not doing anything.
oh yeah i carried a handbag to eat at the Yard not too long ago and yeah i ran into that dilemma of not knowing where to put it while i ate. sucks lol but hey... kudos to those who don't worry too much about getting their bags stolen or dirty or scratched.
