Got Some Free Time

so i have some free time to actually go back to my google reader and peep at others' blogs :) it's been awhile and here are some things i wanna quote from people:

Those who are not capable, cling to those who are.

Being friends or name dropping isn’t going to better your skills. Saying you know this person doesn’t give you that persons credibility.

Let’s focus on working on ur craft instead of just saying who your friends are. Giving a list of names of people who are capable doesn’t do you any good when it’s you who is applying for the position.

Favortism and kissing ass may have worked for you before but this is a whole new ball game. Which you do not have btw. Claiming you can do it all you want, where is the proof? The work. Riding your friends success isn’t going to last long, as a matter of fact it’s only going to fuck you up even more because when friends can no long do a thing. You won’t know what to do. So you’re only screwing yourself over.

As much as I hate to be the person to give the bad news. Apart of me will be satisfied to see your wrongful doings catch up to you. I call it justice, karma does not miss a beat. It only waits for opportunities to strike. And when it does, it will be through me.

Call me cold and an asshole all you want. I worked for what I have. I’m only serving you, your empty plate. Since you failed to cook or learned how. I guess you will not be dining at my restuaramt anymore. I do not need low class clientele anyway.

Those who have fallen prey to your tactics should thank you for destroying their promotions. Thanks for doing that to their career. I only employ those who I see fit. It’s my business, I will fire and hire whomever I choose. Do not let a custodian tell you how to do your supervising job. Funny stuff.

CEO or ASS, doesn’t matter. Just like you. Now accepting applications. Filling up fast. Lining around the building. Since you failed to see the truth in what this all really us. Then you can step outside the building and realize just how high this tower stands. Do you see the construction? Working on extending this tower higher? This company is growing. And it will be a sky scrapper. Everyone will see and talk about it.

People who have never been inside can only imagine and gossip what what goes down inside. Well, you, will still cling on the fact that you were once a part of it all. Always clinging like how you’ve always been doing. No one who gets fired or demoted has nothing positive to say. Which is fine, just remeber it happens for a reason. Accept that you didn’t qualify for the position. It’s a great company afterall. You should remain an employee if you’re looking towards the long run.

Unless you want to join those who once were or wish to be. Negative opinions can only be given. Only reason is because they know they missed that opporunity with something grand.

Humility comes first. Passion keeps you going. Growth is your motto. There is no room for selfishness.

You get what you put in. You put in nothing. I’ll give you nothing.

Much respect to Dennis from ThatONEcompany. It's hard for me not to listen to the words of a director from another team and it's seriously therapy for me because then I'm more reassured that I'm not the only one that's surrounded by those who are burdening me WHEN I WAS more involved with 'the team'

Ever since I went to Barnes and Nobles way back when and saw this, i'm glad that there's an online archive of it lol http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/full-list-of-stuff-white-people-like/ and i found it cuz i googled, "why do people like SF so much?" i still don't understand what the hype is about and not to hate or anything but i really do love the lounge life of huntington beach. mainly cuz i feel like i don't have enough money to live in a city like that and if so, what would i be doing everyday and where would i relax without worrying bout the fog or even tanning. i love to swim and the beaches in SF are too cold. so is the water at santa cruz :( yeah... the urban and 'diversity' is there from what i've been reading on sites but other than sight seeing and being able to brag that there are so many shops WHERE I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY to buy anything, i would say that i would get bored of the lifestyle. Perhaps if I got involved with the city and do big things and host events for the city/county... THEN i wouldn't be as bored. bleh, not a fan of hills either. i like my cruise on the coast and not have to worry about about layering and wearing a ton of scarves in the city (there's something about the fashion in SF where everyone wears scarves... in SoCal, we have more sarongs... ANYWAY we'll see how things go. i've moved a lot and i'm down for an adventure. I don't see myself ever hyping up SF though.

you know where I wanna go? Niagra Falls... or on a Safari ride to look at Lions and Cheetahs up close. If I were to use my money on anything, it'll be for the experience, not the glam and clothes that i see in magazines and then just ends up in my closet on a hanger.

ok is it just me or do all the guy dancers look like each other now? MUST you dance with a sideways hat and get lip piercings to dance better? i feel like i'm seeing clones when it comes to people dressing up to dance and everything now. i like it better when someone who knows of what i do and how i dance when they can just casually walk up to me and ask me rather than just showing off that i look like a dancer in order to get attention. it kinda drives me insane but i guess that's my problem. by the time i get around scouting for acts and whatever, i actually play it to where I wanna approach someone on the team who looks like they're having fun and not like an idiot wanting to get attention. in my head, all i'm thinking is, wow look at this fool trying to look like a typical male dancer you'd see on youtube. how original... ugh... poser... must be full of himself, gonna talk to his friend next to him. true story.

i wish there were more cute looking girls or hot girls who did more with their lives than just drink smoke and party. i don't think anything's hotter than having a great looking girlfriend who's well rounded, independent, and a people's person... AND also having projects on the side that's more than just work. a girl with an artistic vision that has no relations to fashion and make up is hot and so far there's only one girl who I see that fits this description. I'm just saying I wish there were more.
