drop the word association

For someone who claims to be drama-free or who wants to stay away from drama… it’s a shock to see them use the word so loosely and so often.

Over time, I’ve developed a connotation for the word “drama” to mean that it’s a given situation where one person would not like to be in and it is causing them an immense amount of stress or discomfort. Therefore, don’t PUT yourself in that situation. Easy. Don’t call it drama and drop the affiliation and word association.

If you don’t want to be associated with the drama, don’t call it that. I can see the argument being thrown: “even if you don’t call it so, it doesn’t change the fact that it is…” still… it’s all in your head. Maybe you’re the only one dealing with it.

There’s real drama, then there’s you being dramatic.

Just drop it.

This stands for other words that will put you down. Steer away from it all if it makes you that uncomfortable. If you want to take it head on, then take it, stop complaining cuz you already knowing complaining is a way to steer away from the problem even a little bit before you get back onto things again. If you need to vent, vent AFTER THE FACT that it’s been approached and attempted to be fix.

Just my opinion.
