What advice would you give to someone who loved dancing but wasn't very good at it?

depending on what grade you're in, get involved in your school's free dance classes and lessons but if you have the money then go out and take workshops and get a feel for the different styles and meet the different choreographers. if you're looking to join a team, definitely consider taking master classes or workshops from teams that are familiar with the dance scene or travel somewhere far to 1. get that out of town experience as well as getting to know what it's like to dance in the industry and 2. it'll help you get over your fear of showcasing it in front of your friends who go to nearby workshops :)

definitely don't put yourself down if you can't get something as fast as someone else who seems like they know the whole dance already after learning it once. the mirror is there to help yourself and to have a better sight of the choreographer teaching -- not so you can have a better view of the person next to you :)

questions, concerns, or have a topic in mind for me to rant about? :)
